Fawn Miller
Hot Times in Pennsylvania

I had known Morgan
Hagen from my time as Photo Editor at Hustler in Columbus. We had renewed
contact in Los Angeles when he became editor at Hustler’s Busty Beauties. We
were having lunch one day in Hollywood and our conversation turned to a trip
to Ohio. I was going back to see family as was Morgan. He asked me if I was
going to the little Hustler reunion of old editors in Columbus. I had not
heard of it but told him I would go.
Since my visit was to
be for several months, he suggested I might shoot some of his amateurs that
had sent in Polaroids for his answer to what we at Hustler called the Beaver
Hunt. We met at a bar at the campus of the Ohio State University (my alma
mater) for the reunion with a half a dozen other editors. He had a small
manila envelope with a few Polaroids. He especially wanted a girl named Fawn
Miller of York Pennsylvania. He told me he realized it was a bit far to
drive, but it was her that he wanted most.
I replied it would not
be a problem. I would drive to Pennsylvania, shoot her in York and then visit
relatives in New Hope. So that was the plan. After he returned to Los
Angeles, he called me and asked me to try to get a shot of something that
would mark the shoot as truly Pennsylvania. He wanted a shot of the steps of
the place where Rocky runs to the top and where the statue of ‘Rocky’ stands
with hands in the air. I agreed. Unfortunately the statue had been moved.
but while in New Hope, I drove to Philadelphia and made shots of both places.
He contacted Fawn and
told her she was the winner of the amateur contest and that a former Hustler
photographer would come to her town to photograph her. It was cheaper to send
me (I paid my own expenses out of my shooting fees), than to bring her and her
husband into Los Angeles. He told me to call her and make the arrangements. I
did. I talked with her husband and we tried to figure out where I might shoot
the layout. It was still pretty cold so outside would not be possible. He
said he knew a couple of nice hotels, and I told him I would check them out
when I got there.
I showed up in York
and met them in a bar downtown. We went to an older but very nice hotel. I
got a room for about $80 for the night. They went off to get her wardrobe
items while I set up lights and then they returned.
We had no makeup
artist so she tried to do her own. I ended up making the final adjustments
myself (having studied makeup techniques while I was learning glamour
photography).
In my studio in Los
Angeles I have a rule NO HUSBANDS or friends can watch the shoots. Most other
photographers have the same rule. It is usually distracting and although the
models always think they will be more comfortable, they never are.
I had a lot of trouble getting a good expression out of her.
Then I told her I had a BIG DICK.
This was taken just after I showed it to her...
(I wish...joking of course)
Her husband was very
friendly and non intrusive but I did mention that I usually did not allow
spectators. He was an amateur photographer and wanted to see. So we started
the shoot with him watching. Later he said he needed to do something and
asked her if she was comfortable with me alone. She replied that she was so he
went off, and I was able to get much better looks into the camera.
Fawn was a very
very pretty girl with a super body, but I cannot say she was one of my hottest
models.
We did a pleasant shoot with one background that Morgan was pleased with.
Later she and her husband made a trip to Los Angeles where she did both still
photographs and adult videos. She got much better makeup than we were
able to do in the hotel in downtown York, Pa.
And of course it is easier to light a model well in the studio.
She enjoyed doing
videos and modeling. Her husband watched as many shoots as he was allowed.
She was never what I would call a model with loads of expressions.
She looked
much more like the porn type model when she was wildly made up as she was in
her shoots in Los Angeles;
but I still kind of like the look she had in the
photos of that first photo layout that we did in Pennsylvania.
She had a bit
of naive shyness that I believe comes across better in the more natural room
of that hotel
and with the very minimum makeup that we did.
These are the photos
that I offer up for sale on
Pinup4u.com .
Lance shot some photos of her while
she was in Los Angeles and he occasionally puts some of them up.
Be sure to
check often to see more of Fawn.
